"I picked this hotel because it recieved a 6.8 "Good" rating on Expedia. It was far from good. I would have given it a 0 but that was not an option.The entire property is run down and dirty on the outside. The room clearly had not been cleaned. Therr was residue on the toilet seat, floors, mirrors and chairs. The tub was stained. Rust on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. There was a puddle of water on the floor between the tub and toilet. A drop of water landed on my arm. I looked up and...

The local people laughed when asked about street parking being available. The check out process was unclear as I couldn't get the key box to open back to depsosit the key back. "My honest complaints are, my non smoking room was definitely heavily smoked in.. The carpet needed some attention, didnt seem to be swept.. Otherwise the beds were clean, bathroom was nice.. "

"Holiday Inn in Homestead was not very clean. Pink mold and toe nail clippings were in the bathroom. We were 4 people and were only given 2 bath towels both days. We had to go to the front desk for the other 2. I saw the room fee we were charged was much more than the fees that were posted on Expedia for the same weekend. This place was definitely not worth what we paid."
