"My room at that of the other members of my party were huge, I really didn’t expect such great rooms, given we had booked basic doubles. The room and en-suite were spotless, as were all communal areas. My bed was extremely comfortable, extra pillows were available if needed too. I booked a room towards the rear of the hotel, but one at the front would have fabulous seats views. I hadn’t realised that breakfast was included, choice of yoghurts, cereals and toast, with self serve tea and coffee, plenty to set you up for the day. Reception isn’t manned 24 hours, but access out of hours is via a phone. I checked in late and simply spoke to someone who gave me a code for a key lock to retrieve my key and explained where my room was and provided some hotel information, this process was very straightforward. The owner was lovely and obviously takes great pride in their hotel. I would definitely stay at the Penta Hotel again."

"Stayed to visit family. Room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent! The staff were all very kind and helpful. We stayed here because the position is very handy for the town shops and the ferry. There was a bit of building work happening close by but this did not bother us. The views from the front are wonderful especially at night seeing the ‘Tower of Refuge’ with lights on and lights along the prom."

"Lovely stay, large room with recliner seats to watch the tv, clean and tidy, tea and coffee filled up daily, bedding every 4 days. Excellent choice at breakfast, lovely food. Very pleasant staff, helpful and attentive. Only negative we had no tv channels as no fire stick in the room but watched YouTube, and ITVX"
