"Lovely guest house
Excellent hosts.
Convienient to all areas of St Lucia.
Our room was clean and compact.
Lovely pool, breakfast was excellent.
Will be returning on our next visit to South Africa."
"It started fine but on the third night as we were putting our kids to bed we found some sort of rodent droppings all over the kids beds and pillows. It must have all fallen from the overhead vents. We immediately packed and left. It ruined our trip to St Lucia. "
"The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do.
Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs.
I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff."
"I can’t recommend Rhino Coast Guest House highly enough.
On arrival we were very warmly met by the owner Don who was incredibly informative, helpful and enjoyable to talk with.
Don was also super helpful with some car rental issues we had.
The accommodation is very comfortable, the rooms are really tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed.
The location is brilliant, close to all restaurants in the Main Street and also to the beach.
The breakfast was so generous and one of the best we had...
"I have requested a quiet corner room while making the booking and upon checking in on arrival i was told to pay an extra R200 for the quiet room which i did pay to my surprise the following day I was asked again to pay an extra R200 ... which i did pay as i did not want to move to an other room...I really feel so disgusted about how people can be so so greedy when it comes to money that we will leave behind when dead...the place was even too noisy with the occupants upstairs."
"Great house with superb staff. The house has a nice garden, a pool (not heated) and a fire pit plus braai. It has a covered patio, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a double garage. The house is very secure. Everything is in perfect shape, well maintained and cleaned daily. Close to town and just across the street is a small park where the hippo’s graze at night! St Lucia is a charming
small town with nice restaurants and plenty of activities. Go for a self drive in the iSimangaloso wetland park, a...
