"The staff were great but the rooms were a bit cramped especially the bathrooms. There were problems with television reception breaking up. The hotel is in a nice location and the food was fine."

The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "Lovely hotel in superb position and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. However we are blue badge holders with limited mobility and although there were a number of disabled parking places all these had been pre-booked and occupied by diners. Whilst we were able to leave our car in a disabled space on the first evening we were directed to the underground car park on the Sunday. Unfortunately it was almost full but we managed to literally squeeze into one of the last two spaces. This was disappointing...

"Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. Would definitely stay there again"

"Sehr gute Lage, Empfangshalle und der Aufenthalt, wo man Kleinigkeiten zu sich nehmen kann. Fantastischer Blick auf das Meer in den eigenen Garten. Alles sehr sauber und der Spabereich geht in Ordnung mit Schwimmbad und Sportgeräte. Das Zimmer ist sauber und die Betten sind am Abend sauber bezogen und auch die Bäder sind sauber. Das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen."

"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

"Immensely impressive restoration of one of Britain's iconic buildings. The food in the restaurant was amongst the best I have tasted, however, although very friendly and attentive, the staff in the Restuarant would benefit from more training. The EV charging points were most welcome but were inconsistent and failed regularly. Loved the atmosphere generated by the property and would stay again if in the area"
