"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…"

"The Royal Oak is a great old inn, with a well-stocked bar and excellent food. "Everything was absolutely perfect! Village location that’s not too difficult to get to via car. Private car park directly across the street from the hotel. Bus stop right down the road in Crumplehorn. Full breakfast included in the rate. Spotless, comfy rooms with daily housekeeping. Teas and coffees, etc. in the room and refreshed daily with housekeeping. Highly recommend this hotel!"
