"Staff were friendly and facilities sufficient. Very eclectic atmosphere and could do we a facelift in my opinion. Room and bathroom were clean but small. Felt that it was very expensive for what it was and there were additional charges for everything. Even a cup of coffee is chargeable."

"This is a nice facility conveniently located on the peninsula. The women who checked us in was extremely helpful - answering questions and even going over a map with me. We enjoyed the restaurant she recommended. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the mountains. There was a TV which was unusual in Iceland. The hot water was great and water pressure good. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. i recommend this facility"

"Great location No slippers, tissue (for nose) or mini fridge in room Good breakfast buffet Insufficiently stocked bar (unable to make a Manhattan cocktail as the bar was out of vermouth) Below average (relative to the price) dinner with main meat dishes either not cooked to desired temperature or served lukewarm; experienced over 2 different dinners Check your bill at departure as there were several errors"
