Sheraton Mountain Vista Villas, Avon / Vail Valley
8/10 Good
"One night stay for sports tournament so didn't get to explore much of the amenities, but clean hotel with large villas.
There is a fee for parking was a bit of a bummer, but that's ok.
No AC, which I missed when booking, thankfully it was cooler weather when we stayed and you can open windows."
"Room 134 for one night was clean but was lacking in other areas. It should have had a lounge chair or couch. There was no shampoo or body lotion in showers, and only enough conditioner for one shower. There was no ice bucket in room. Breakfast had sausage and potatoes but no eggs (maybe ran out)?"
"This was a good place to stay for a quick weekend away. Staff was nice. The extra bed in our suite was not great. But the couch was comfy enough to sleep on. So it worked out. The kids enjoyed the pool. Good breakfast."
The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon, Vail Valley
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was exceptional and the condition was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and were extremely friendly. The location of the resort was perfect and having the shuttle bus to Beaver Creek ski area as well as Vail was great and saved me a lot of money on taxis. The restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious. Overall my experience at the resort was a memorable one and I will definitely return to stay at the Westin Riverfront"
"We use this property to make sure our field employees have a place to stay when they’re working in Vail. They like it and it’s comfortable. And the breakfast seems to be pretty good. Unfortunately the front desk lost one of the names on the reservation, we had a little bit of a kerfuffle trying to get one team checked in."
"I checked out early. Odd smell, clogged shower drain, towels and robes where thread bare with pilling fabric. Would not recommend this location. The staff however were excellent, I did not use the amenities but I would assume they are the highlight of the property. My room was on a low floor but the view was still quite nice."
