"This hotel was nice with very friendly and helpful staff, a convenient location right on Lake Lucerne, and (fortunately) later dining was available at a nearby restaurant for takeout. The room was a good size and the shutters helped keep light and noise out. Parking was limited and we had to use a parking garage that required cash in Swiss francs so be aware if you only have euros."

"The room was very clean and it had all of the amenities we needed. It was nice that there was a Coop grocery store nearby and another self serve store around the corner from the property. The bus stop was also nearby. The lights in the toilet were motion detected but would never turn off so we just closed the door so the light wouldn’t shine on our faces while we slept. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"Perfect location! Right on the lake across from a park. Walking distance to everything! But far enough away to be removed from the crowd! Old building seems like they turned the old closet into the bathroom because it used to be shared at the end of the hall. But what would you expect from an old building in Switzerland? If you’re looking for a Marriott probably shouldn’t go to a 500 year old town in Switzerland. Would definitely stay here again."

"Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. There was nothing about the hotel that met our expectations. The overall experience was poor, from the condition of the property and cleanliness to the service and general atmosphere. The room was not comfortable, and the hotel did not feel welcoming or well-maintained. For the price, the experience was simply not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel and would definitely choose somewhere else for my next stay."
