It’s a 5 minute walk to the theater though so that was nice. Tandem bakery is right next door. You have to get coffee and pastries. Make sure to get a loaded biscuit. "

The apartment we stayed in was roomy, impeccably clean, and well-furnished. We had everything we needed for our stay. Security was great, parking was easy, and right next to a police parking lot, so very secure. We look forward to staying here again!"

One day out of four they strangely neglected to clean the room, even with a door sign requesting service, but the night front desk person took it upon herself to do so when we noted the problem after returning around dinner time. She’s a gem. Showers were excellent. Rooms were reasonably sized too. Request a third floor if you don’t like the sound of people above your room walking around as the hardwood floors amplify this. "I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn by the bay in Portland Maine. It was an excellent experience and not terribly expensive for booking. I loved how the staff was able to upgrade my room just from checking in alone. Recommend anyone passing by to at least stay here just for the heck of it if you got time and money to spare."

"The hotel was clean and in a great spot. The staff was helpful. I was disappointed in some of the tech. You are asked to text to retrieve your car. Our car was “not recognized by the system”. We also were unable to cast to the TV in our room with a streaming app. The service kept on recognizing an adjacent room. We called the helpline but they could not resolve the issue. "
