"This hotel is probably the best I’ve stayed at. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, steam room. They also have a restaurant with entertainment. We were there on probably the last hot day in October (85 degrees). They had a poolside bar as well. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this one here was by far the best. We paid a decent price being as though the seasons changed. I’m hoping to be able to book something this summer. Definitely 5 stars from me."
"We enjoyed the ambience of the great old building. Only there for two nights, but we ate our meals in the Blue Pig Tavern. Food was wonderful. Ideal location right across the street from the beach. Washington Street Mall was across from the side of the building."
"Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in October during off season. The hotel still had an open heated pool and a driver/shuttle to bring you to and from the hotel and areas around town. John was a great driver who was very knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations. Though they offer the shuttle service, main parts of town are very close to the hotel and could even be walked to. They let us check in early which was a great bonus. Harry’s bar and grill...
"The Inn is lovely and the staff is wonderful. The breakfasts were very filling with lots of great choices and the teatime and wine and cheese in the afternoon were lovely.
The property could use some upgrading. The bathroom ceiling tiles were moldy and need to be replaced and outside of the guest room were trunks filled with cleaning supplies which should have been stowed way more discreetly. It’s an old house so the upkeep is considerable, but for the room rate, the place could use a little...
