"Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure. "

"Great hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect — close to everything. Highly recommended. The only downside was the fire alarm going off around 1am, which meant the hotel had to be evacuated. That said, the staff member on duty was working alone and handled the situation incredibly well. The evacuation was calm, organised, and everyone was kept safe. Huge credit to him. Thank you for a great stay — I’ll definitely be back next...

"We stayed in the Ironstone room, which was large, homely and had a great view of Cradle Mountain. It was easy to check in and very friendly staff. We booked the tomahawk steak dinner and it did not disappoint! The light breakfast consists of Muesli and yoghurt which was also a nice start to the day. We would highly recommend staying here and wish we had longer!"
