"Run away from the "KIng William" room 109 and Expedia. The shower controls were not working. The on/off control was not working so as you turned it, it went from off to trickle to off and anywhere in between. The hot cold went from cold to maybe warm, to off to trickle. What the heck. The second night I was allowed to go to room 106 so that I could take a better shower... newer controls but no hot water at all. On to room 105 with a working shower. "The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud! "Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive and happy to help. Breakfast menu had a good choice, I chose a full English, which was lovely. Great choice of beers at the bar, at least six of which are brewed in house. Wonderful. Only stayed one night should have been two just to taste those beers."

"Room in the town house was clean an tidy, bed very comfortable. Shower and bath a very good size! The only thing bad was the noice from the main high street, as we stayed there on a Saturday night and were woken up a few times. Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was lovely with a large selection. would definitely recommend a stay."
