Geiranger Hotel Utsikten Review

The Hotel Utsikten is a wonderful smaller vintage hotel. We really liked the historic photographs that are on the walls around the building. It felt cozy there. Some of the rooms have a view of the fjord. The breakfast was good with lots of variety and options.

The room and the view were excellent. Very historical and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and thoughtful. We arrived very late after the reception was closed and Margo even left us some hot water for tea. Great stay, would definitely visit again

Spectacular location, oversees the fjord, older property, but well maintained . Friendly staff. Only disadvantage is cannot walk to any place as it is high on the mountain but the view compensates for it. Can get busy with tour bus travellers .

Lovely, friendly hotel.

Good location outside of the busy centre. Fantastic views from the hotel. Downside was tour coaches going pass the windows constantly until 16:00. Friendly staff. Food excellent.

The hotel is older, but has so much character and history. Very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing! Staff was efficient and very personable. Very good breakfast with lots to choose from. Deserts were very good as well!

Great view in front of hotel. 2-3 viewpoints walking from hotel just 5 mins. If you back to hotel too late, you may have trouble in finding a parking spot.
