"The Virginian is a small and older motel in small town southern Virginia. If you are looking for a bed for a few nights this is the place. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere, The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient for what I needed. It is also pet friendly for a $10 per night pet fee, much less than I have paid elsewhere."
"Perfect location right off the Blueridge Parkway. Under new ownership , being renovated, Hardwood floors, large bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows."
"Room was not clean. Carpet was dirty. Empty pop bottle and plastic Chick-fil-a bag were under the head of both sides of the bed. The storage bin under the microwave had a large Chick-fil-a bag that contained a box and the rest of the diner's trash.
Night staff did not seem to care about dirty room."
