"The room was clean and well appointed. It was fresh and up to date. The staff was helpful and the breakfast hot and delicious with a great variety for kids and adults. The air conditioning was wonderful. And the pool was great fun for my great grand daughter! I will go again and highly recommend to travelers of all ages"

"I read all the reviews before booking and quite honestly, I am stunned. The Plaza Travel Inn is a very old, run down hotel in need of many repairs. I don’t know how it is granted a two star rating…it should be a one star hotel at best. You are given an actual metal key to open your door… my door lock was very old, the door was thin and old…and the lock could have easily been broken into or busted off, as it was loose. I did not feel safe during my stay. The hotel is very close to the highway and the traffic noise is loud. There are no amenities to speak of. I had to buy ice at the gas station next door…(again a metal key to undo the padlock on the ice freezer). There is one staff member that checks you into the hotel. He was courteous… but I disagree that I was in a safe place for the night. The bed was very old and squeeky, the bathroom is tiny, toilet hard to flush, shower scalding hot…but the AC did work. Parking spots are tiny and it was difficult to get a spot in front of my room so that I could keep an eye on my car throughout the night. I was uncomfortable for my one night stay and was thankful that nothing happened to me. I do not recommend this hotel."
