"Great place to stay and have fun"

"Good refrigerator, great location and roomy, but downhill after that. Code to get in didn’t work. Staff showed up quickly and gave us a key to use instead. The parking was extremely tight for the cabins. The hot water didn’t work, which earned them one star for this stay."

"The hotel has gone way downhill since my last stay years ago. It used to be the nicest place to stay in the area. It is now mainly used for Gov employees who are working on the new lock and DNR officers. A/c did not work in our room and the central air unit wouldn’t shut off. We had to open the windows because it was so hot in there. I would think twice about staying here as a visitor/tourist."

"The motel has been completely redone recently and it was wonderful! It was so clean. ( Probably one of the cleanest I have stayed.) The owner was very friendly. It was so centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!"

"We had stayed at this particular location multiple times in the past. I don’t know if we just got a smaller room this time or things have gone downhill more than I had initially thought. I did ask about the Owners because I know they did the cleaning themselves and maintained the property. However, I was told the property was sold two or three years ago…. I can’t remember to the new owners. Honestly, for the price, I could’ve stayed somewhere else that wasn’t as old, dark and dingy. The bathroom...
