We had the most wonderful stay. We got the 9.30am boat over to the island, were able to leave our bags at reception and went to enjoy the pool - this was really special. The pool has three smaller pools around the base and the views are just stunning. The colours of the sea are phenomenal. After spending some time here, we then went down to the lagoon on the beach where free activities were offered - there was paddle boarding, pedlaos, kayaking and canoes. This was a real bonus. Rooms are small but clean and with good aircon. Good that there is an airport shuttle, and that it’s also really close to the ferry terminal. Very noisy though if you’re on the end, it’s like there isn’t a window in, and you can hear everything outside so clearly. Didn’t realise there was a communal kitchen / pantry on each floor, would be good to explain this at check in as I was disappointed not to have a fridge.

The room as fairly small but had everything we needed for a single night. There’s not a lot to do in the evening other than have something to eat at one of the few restaurants but as you’ll be getting up early it’s probably not the priority. Like most tourists we were here to do the whale shark trip. The location is perfect two minutes walk from where the boats leave. We got up at 4:00am and were in the queue by 4:15. We were about 30 from the front but by the time we’d done some waiting...

All the Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Beautiful view of the sea from the resort. Perfect location between the whale shark encounter/ port and main Oslob. Food was delicious and freshly cooked, with good size portions- the Lumpia’s are one of the best we’ve ever tasted! One thing to note for foreign guests is that there is no sheets or duvets just a Kumot (a white flat towel like sheet). Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Oslob.
