However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. I went out on it and my foot immediately went through the floor boards after testing a few more that were about to do the dame thing, I decided not you use the balcony. "Over the 4th of July weekend, some days breakfast was not served; I should have been told in advance. Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. Customers need to be forewarned and given a choice."
