"Room had a clogged toilet when we arrived. Notified front desk to have maintenance to come up and deal with while we were out. When we came back the toilet seemed to be just a bad toilet that flushed slowly. Next day we went out again and came back to a toilet that was not flushing again. Phoned the front desk to come up and were told that someone would be up. We are a family who has small children, and were winding down for the night and were waiting for the maintenance team to come up. 20 mins later we decided to just get the kids ready for bed. We then had to phone down again an hour after we made our initial call for the night, and made it seem like someone should have been up there already. After over an hour of waiting while putting kids to sleep, maintenance finally showed up and dealt with the toilet. Based on how the toilet flushed, no had come up to our suite when we initially noted that there was an issue.
They offered us a $50 credit for our stay to make up for the fact that they couldn't provide basic plumbing to their hotel rooms. Nothing like wondering throughout a trip if you are going to be able to flush your toilet.
Things happen, but the lack of response shows that they will not prioritize you if something happens."
