"Older, historic hotel in downtown Białystok nicely restored. I stayed in family suite, room # 118. Room was very clean, lots of windows facing St. Mikolaj Orthodox Church. I kept windows closed, due to traffic noise but A/C was a bonus.
The best was location. Walking distance to Kościuszki square and restaurants.
I would highly recommend hotel Cristal if you’re visiting Białystok"
"First of all, the name of this accommodation has changed; it's now called "Hostel Białystok Centrum." Next, there is nothing in English to indicate this, but you have to get to the 4th floor by stairs or, IF the internal door is open, by elevator. I had reserved a quadrupal room for myself. It was clean and the bedding was fine. The (men's) barhrooms were one-person and clean. The staff were friendly enough. Reception closes late evening, so codes are needed to get back up to the hostel. While the place was quiet generally, the walls between rooms are thin, not muffling conversation in the next room much. There was a corner near the reception with a kettle and small fridge, but no other amenities that I noticed. That said, the location is handy, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk from the main (market) square. In the end, a decent budget accommodation."
"This was an impressive property for a very reasonable price. I had a car problem and Klaudia was amazingly helpful contacting businesses for me. My only constructive criticism is that the extensive breakfast buffet looked as if it had been on display for long enough for some of the food to dry out. I should go to breakfast before 8.30am perhaps!
Thank you for a very comfortable stay and a helpful experience"
"It is a good place for a stop over or an event for family or business. Breakfast buffet is healthy and plentiful. The restaurant is also excellent. What is a bit bizarre is the architecture. The hotel was built in 2014, I was told. The architect clearly had no idea how to use the space efficiently. It should be studied as an example and made into the Museum of Bad Architecture. In addition, the planners, in 2014, didn't think about usb charging ports, but equipped rooms with internet ethernet outlets (sic). Still, highly reccomended for a stay. If you find it, because the entrance to this relatively big object is hidden inconspicuously from the highway."
