"The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and in a lovely location with beautiful views. Our room was a good size and comfortable.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. Before our stay, I emailed the hotel to ask about extending our checkout time and received no response. During our stay, I made further attempts to speak to someone about this but was unable to get hold of anyone who could help.
As we were staying to celebrate our anniversary, this was particularly disappointing. The early checkout time meant the end of our stay felt rushed, and the complete lack of communication from the hotel left us feeling undervalued as guests. While I understand that requests cannot always be accommodated, a response or acknowledgment would have been appreciated.
The hotel has a lot of positive qualities, but the poor communication and lack of customer service unfortunately had a negative impact on what should have been a special occasion."
