"The rooms ( 3rd floor) dont have air conditioned, 35 deg heat was unbearable. The hotel eventually provided a weak desk fan. The windows at that level dont open fully so no draught either.. The room was clean, however the rainfall shower was not cleaned on the top, very dusty, ironically it should have been easy to get to as it was way way to low down and impossible to use. Elimis products very nice."

"A lovely hotel, competitively priced with very clean, very spacious and well maintained rooms judging by my own. The hotel is located next to a very clean and pretty marina, and is just a short walk from restaurants, the main shopping area and the (very steep!) hill up to the cathedral and castle. Breakfast is a very well stocked buffet, offering cereals, fruit and pastries as well as the traditional fayre. All staff I came across were pleasant and very polite. The on site car park is fairly large, although I stayed in May and did get the impression that in the summer peak months you would need to arrive early to have a good chance of getting a space. I doubt there would be enough spaces for all guests arriving by car. You register your car at Reception on arrival and so I would think that if you left it during your stay you should get a space on return because the hotel would know how many cars are registered at any given time."

"The room was clean and so was the communal areas. Location good for the ice rink, hence the selection of the hotel. Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you wanted a drink in your room. I had to buy tea and some milk in order to have a drink in my room. No hairdryers or anything in the rooms at all. Just a bed and two thin towels. There was shower gel in the shower though. NO FREE PARKING - I had to pay £17.50 to park at the hotel for two nights. On the plus side - the room was functional, the beds were comfy and the water was hot but no room to spin a cat and the shower and sink are right next to the bed. So whilst it's advertised at budget, all the extras I had to pay for made it not budget at all and wished I'd booked at the Premier Inn opposite."

"Reception lady didn't even get out her chair to greet us Their was a wedding at the venue and I feel as a regular guest we were ignored I paid alot off money for the 6 off us to stay their and I won't recommend or stay here again My son went to the bar and asked for a pint off larger only to be told their was no glasses ?? I asked for 2 bottles off cider and was given hot glasses out the dishwasher We had nowhere to sit because all tables and chairs were taken up by wedding guests We did eventually sit outside the spa but was asked to leave due to the fact it was closing so off to our rooms we went The tall man in the spa was absolutely amazing friendly and kind Never again and expensive for nothing Slamming door hotel bang bang bang all night"
