"Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend."

"I have no idea how this property has a good rating on the Expedia site. That was not our experience. The room was not clean with wrappers on the floor and a dirty towel on the shelf. We arrived later in the evening and when we got up the next morning all I wanted just wanted to get out of there. I did speak with the staff and she said I should have asked for another room. Lesson learned. No apology."

"I like that the gal who checked me in asked about why I was in town and took an interest in me personally. I also appreciated that she didn't blast my room number to anyone in earshot. As a woman who travels for business and sometimes alone, it was greatly appreciated."
