A great place for a family gathering

The Adinia Apartments were fantastic. A stones throw from public transport ans shopping. The staff at reception were amazing nothing was to much trouble. The grand old lady will be amazing when renovations are completed

We loved the place, so much so we are coming back. We had a couple of issues which we addressed. One was the pillows, which we could change. The other was the light that stayed on with the air conditioning, and the glass doors to the bedroom. But apart from those which is all doable we love the place, Thank you so much

Disappointing welcome but clean rooms.

Having just returned from the Sunshine Coast where everybody is very friendly and the shopkeepers all very welcoming and helpful, the welcome at the hotel was a bit of a downer. No welcoming smile or any sort of conversation. The check-out was very similar. Not sure if they're not happy with their job or what's going on. The rooms, however, were very clean and everything well appointed. The bed was quite uncomfortable but the shower was very good. The carpet was very stained which made the room look a bit shabby. Perfect location if you want to be within minutes of Central Station. Room was very quite and I didn't hear any outside noise.

We loved the location and size of the whole room. Reception staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. The small kitchen was handy. The 2nd bed was not split into too singles when we arrived despite prior repeated requests. The beds were too hard. When we arrived there was a visibly dirty towel hanging on the door and a well used makeup pencil on the kitchen sink.The bath/shower tap was stiff and difficult to use.

The staff were excellent and very responsive. My original room had a problem with the air conditioning and so , without any fuss from management, I was moved to a spacious suite. I definitely recommend this hotel for location, spacious and clean rooms and helpful staff

The location was fine, the parking is outside for $39 was considering going to a nearby parking station but the checkin told us their price was the same. upon walking past it was substantially cheaper when this was raised upon checking out the female attendant would not listen or match. Dishonest

Fantastic staff - organised early check in for me when I went in to drop off my bags. The hotel is on the older side, but very clean and comfortable, and excellently located. I always enjoy staying here.

Spacious, Good Amenities, but Pricey

My family of 5 stayed in one of Adina Sydney Central's 2 bedroom apartments for a short, 2-night getaway. Here's what we liked about our stay: The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and generally comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The bathrooms were specious and very nicely renovated. The beds were all quite comfortable with high quality mattresses. The location was superb - walking distance to Patty's Market and Chinatown. The hotel amenities, including pool and gym were nice as well. Recommendations for improvement: The carpet in our room was worn and significantly stained. Also, the sitting room furniture, especially the sofa and soft chair, were incredibly uncomfortable, as they were over-worn with sunken surfaces that did not provide adequate support. The pool area lacked adequate lighting for after-dark swimming. The TV did not work well and only had a small handful of channels and was not enabled for streaming video. Overall: A good place for a family and I would stay here again, although the price is quite high.

Convenient location, great staff, clean apartment

The loft apartment was perfectly quiet and was same as pictured, spacious and clean with lift to 6th floor. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining with balcony. Stairs to loft bedroom, bathroom with laundry in a cupboard (no washing powder provided). High step over bath to use shower. Staff pleasant and helpful. Street level pool, bbq, sun lounges etc. Located adjacent to country train platform at Central station. From top of Quay Street it is easy walk to Chinatown and Darling Harbour. Close walk to Spice Alley food precinct and Central Park shopping centre with Woolworths supermarket. Negative experience as I left my phone charger on bedside table and despite numerous phone calls to Adina, no one has seen it, not even the cleaners! Will stay there again.
