"The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water. The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space. The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast. Friendly, efficient staff. "I've stayed in quite a few Premier Inns and Travelodges this year, and a few independent hotels, but my room at Tŷ Magor beat all of them. My room was comfortable and fresh and spotlessly clean (the glass and polished metal gleaming!). The bed was comfortable (there was a sofa bed too), the pillows generous. The bara brith biscuits were yummy and the coffee bags were good. Best of all, the air conditioning was pretty much silent, but still effective. I slept well. Reception staff were...
