The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. It is a smaller hotel in a rural type town and you got that small town care from the staff. The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet.
