"I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel."

"I was really disappointed with the bed in this hotel. The mattress was clearly old and worn out—you could feel a noticeable dip in the middle and the springs poking through. It made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I wouldn’t stay here again unless they seriously upgrade their bedding. "

The retreat features beautiful lakes where you can catch your own trout — a fun and rewarding experience. The onsite restaurant was a standout, showcasing premium trout and lamb sourced directly from the working farm, along with other high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding — warm, personal, and truly first class. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or simply a place to switch off and recharge, I couldn’t recommend Tuki Retreat more highly. A truly special place that leaves you feeling refreshed and inspired."

"Everything was great here-one of the nicest caravan park/motel complexes we've stayed in! One minor thing though---PLEASE upgrade your internet ?wifi connection--the speed was so bad we gave up altogether during our stay and waited until we left --i'm sure its in the pipeline though given our impression we formed of the manager and staff--lovely people. Great place to stay in Maryborough!"
