Key pick up 2 kms from flat!!!!

The WORST check-in I’ve experienced in my 25+ years of business travel! Booking through hotels.com I had NOT expected to have to pick up my keys in a backstreet empty pizza place TWO kilometres from the flat. Evening, snow and cold. No taxis (did I say back street?) but the nice restaurant owner were persuaded to drive me … for a fee. Flat it self lovely and as described but do clear up how to get the keys.
