Hotel bien situé dans la médina. Bon petit dèj. Staff à l'écoute et très sympathique. Chambre confortable et spacieuse, mais un peu fraiche si la météo n'est pas clémente.

Location & Character

Great location in the Médina with great character with plenty of space on the rooftop terraces. The front desk staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are in decent condition considering the age of the Riad. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Tangier

Muy limpio...atencion personal en españa y cin mucha educacion hacia el cliente...muy recomendable..un poco dificil de encontrar si no conoces tanger...super limpio y buenas habitaciones...odo corresponde conforme biene en fotos...q en Marruecos es casi imposible...

It was a unique property and the ambiance was good, however they neglected to make my room once and I had to ask for towels. The surrounding area is safe but not that great, also The walk to the hotel and lack of elevator would not suit older people. The wifi was ok but spotty at times,. The service was ok but not exceptional.

sehr freundliches Personal an einem Ort der an 1000 und 1 Nacht erinnert. Wir waren 7 Tage dort und haben es sichtlich genossen in der Altstadt von Tanger zu verweilen. Von der Dachterrasse eine schöne Aussicht auf die Altstadt und das Meer. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden.

The whole hotel is so beautifully decorated. I like especially the several terraces, for chilling and for having a nice view of the harbour. Above all, I like especially the people who work there. They are all very nice. I like to thank in particular Abed. He is so caring. We take a day trip by ferry to Gibraltar from Tangier. It was a bit complicated since we need to hire a taxi to Tangier Med and then the ferry, and then the local bus to La Linea, in order to arrive at Gibraltar. Time is so stringent, but the ferry that we have pre-bought is cancelled, without notice, and the return ferry too. We need to buy again ticket from another company and thus the return time is much late. The taxi driver could not find us and so call back to the hotel, Abed has tried his best and finally contacted me through WhatsApp. Finally, we can still go back to the hotel safely but quite late at night. Thanks again for a responsible hotel keeper such ad Abed.

Nice Riad in a great location

The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a variety of rooms, some bigger and nicer than others. The location is great in that it is right in the old section but close to cafes and water front.

The worst experience of my Morocco trip

Actually We’ve booked 2 nights here, after first night we decided to change another hotel on the next day. First, after we checked-in, our room was on 3rd floor, and no lift in the Dar, we have 3 big heavy luggage but no staffs help us at all and we need to carry our own luggage all the way up the stairs to 3rd floor ourselves. The dar decoration is nice and also have a good rooftop with nice view but inside the building was very dark, especially our room. Even turned on all the lights is still very dark, the washroom is even more worst. When I woke up in the morning I saw water puddle on the floor, lucky that all our luggage wasn’t at that area. My family and I was totally disappointed.

Riad jameel nice staff

Riad Jameel is well located in the old medina. Has a nice staff. Breakfast is great. My only complain is climbing up the stairs was a lot of work. I was sick with food poison and climbing up and down the stairs was a lot of hard work. I asked for a lower room, but they did not have one. For older people it would help to give them a room in the lower floors. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff was friendly.

This property is tucked into the Médina of Tangier and is absolutely gorgeous on the interior. It is filled with gorgeous Moroccan architecture, stunning views, and comfortable living quarters. The only downside is that you have to be prepared for lots of walking up inclines to get to the building and then climb a lot of stairs. I definitely got my workout in while staying here! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is able bodied! ❤️

The entire property was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The provided breakfast was outstanding, and we loved our stay here.

Manzara çok güzel,

Otelin yakınına kadar araba ile gidebilmek güzeldi. Ancak otel görevlileri bölgenin aracı orada bırakmak için güvenli olmadığını söyledi. Arabamı başka yere götürmek zorunda kaldım. Teras manzarası çok güzel. Oda geniş güzel. Kahve makinası ve buzdolabı var. Banyo biraz daha temiz olabilir. Kahvaltı güzel. Çalışanlar canayakın

Nice place in not the greatest area

Nice and close to medina but there was a lot of hustling from people whenever we traveled to and from. I think this is a general medina thing. We didn't feel very safe walking the tight streets at night. Place inside was lovely though. Nice breakfast.

Très bon accueil. Cadre magnifique et très agréable. La situation géographique au coeur de la medina, tout en étant au calme, était vraiment un plus. Notre chambre était au 2e etage, attention escaliers un peu raides ! Elle était spacieuse et très propre.
