Hilton Lake Taupo
Very clean, big room. Sort of view of the lake. Nice staff (that’s the case everywhere in this country!) The only downside is that the mattress is wayyyy too soft. Could bro fall asleep. But for someone who needs a fork mattress, this is a big deal.

Such a lovely welcome from the gentleman on reception! Friendly, helpful, informative, just everything you could want on arrival at your accommodation. He even gave us an upgraded room with a wonderful view of the lake. Limited space for food prep but we knew it was microwave only, so we were prepared. ...

This was a really good destination in central Taupo with the friendliest staff. Helpful to a T. Just 5/10 minutes walk to bars and restaurants on the lake shore
