"I don't usually remember to leave a review, but this was a very excellent hotel. The owners have preserved the historic aspects of the building while thoroughly modernizing the rooms and they are extremely clean. The restaurants are excellent, I ate at Le 9th several times. The location is very quiet and central. The housekeeping was excellent and no matter what time of day I left and took the sign off the door it was clean when I returned, which I did not expect (most US hotels have a set time for cleaning). "The stay was amazing ! I came with two friends and it was really nice. We went to see the stars by foot in a botanical garden not far from the property ! The host was incredible "
"This was a wonderful place to stay out in the countryside to explore the Gers. It is minutes away from Condom and Romieu, an hour or so from Auch - and in the midst of a number of Armagnac distilleries to discover.
My room was very comfortable, breakfasts were excellent, and the one dinner I had was exquisite."
"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage.
Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "
"This property was well worth the 30 hour travel time to marvel in its sophisticated charm and comfort!!!
The property it self is majestic!!! Wonderful gardens!!! Elegant swimming pool!!! Very clean surroundings!! Well equipped kitchen. And delicious breakfast. The Housemade yogurt was my favorite!!
We were there for a wedding at another location with 30 guests from the United States. We decided to skip a dinner with the group and had Clement, the host, cook for us!! Being a chef myself for 30+ years, what an INCREDIBLE experience!!! ALL fresh from local farms within 3 miles!!! Alfresco dinning by the pool!!!
I won't give it 5 stars. I WILL, however give it ALL the stars in the universe!!
A M U S T stay!!!
Thank you Clement and your beautiful wife for making our experience absolutely wonderful!!!"
