Te Urewera National Park

There’s nothing like the “lost road” in NZ. I was trying to take a short cut from Auckland to Rotorua and somehow got lost; alone in a camper van on an (mostly) unsealed marrow road that winded around a big mountain at 20-30km per hour... my heart pounded through my chest.... (Steep drop) the mountain views were breath taking. I didn’t want to leave the road! It was amazing! Next time I’ll take a free camper! Never without in NZ I learnt! An absolute MUST!!
