"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet.

"Beautiful chateaux with friendly owner. The chateaux is huge with very few rooms. Given the oldest part was built in 1115, you can expect that it is as clean as a modern 5 star hotel. Nevertheless, the bed is comfortable and the property has character. I would highly recommend staying there for the experience. BTW, the breakfast is also excellent with fresh squeezed apple juice from the property."

"A lovely hotel with a 4 person family room. Easy check in and plenty of parking in their private car park 100m down the road (a new addition since our last stay). Will come again."
