"We stayed here in 2024 and my mother was so enamored with the property and the buffet breakfast that she insisted on staying here again this year. We were not disappointed! During this trip, I was able to spend more time exploring Solaria Plaza and the surrounding shops and was struck by how conveniently located it is. We will be back -- literally, we will be back next week after our visit to other parts of Kyushu this weekend."

"The Gate Hotel is a nice property directly connected to Tenjin station. It's well-located for both day and evening entertainment. The room was clean and modern. There was a lack of towels to shower more than once without a change. Staff was pleasant, if a bit cold. Views from the room made for decent city photography. "

"Every is good only there isn’t drinking water available at the room floor. Every night we have to go down to the pantry to get water refill which is inconvenient. "

"I could not even check in and had to find a different hotel at 10 pm. They said they would send check in instructions that would have a QR code, but that never happened. The reservation numbers I did receive were all denied by the check in system. I called the hotels contact number 3 times for it to never be picked up. I messaged the hotel and 3 days later still no response. I found a different hotel and contacted Expedia about all this and they also weren’t able to get ahold of the hotel."
