"The room I was allocated was on the sunny side of the building and was like a sauna so I went to reception and told them. The young lady on reception kindly allocated me a room on the other side of the hotel which was much better. Moreover, it had a river view. It's in a lovely location, the whole area is beautiful."

"Charming hotel, bar and restaurant. Staff very helpful and food excellent. emails sent so check-in and check-out could all be done on line making everything quick and convenient. Bedrooms/ensuites could possibly do with a little TLC but they were still clean and comfortable."

"Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "
