We only stayed for 1 night, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was excellent, friendly staff and very nice rooms. We also booked dinner at the in house restaurant ‘1924’, which was very nice indeed. Excellent food quality and again friendly attentive staff. Would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

The only negative was when we asked reception to book us a taxi and they gave us a phone number to call a taxi ourselves. I would really expect Hilton hotels to just order us a taxi and save us the trouble. Otherwise, the hotel was perfectly pleasant.

A great stay
Nothing was too much trouble. We were staying as a family 16 of us for our mothers funeral and they were kind and welcoming . Breakfast was great - fabulous to have a gluten free section all of its own. Fridge in room was a great feature. Pity it did not contain fresh milk for tea and coffee. Better for the environment than the little plastic containers - which you need two of for each cup of tea/coffee. The restaurant Food was good - although a little over priced.

Clean modern hotel, good sized room and large shower. Buffet breakfast was good quality. Very convenient for the A34 but the car park is operated by a private company with no free parking included with the room, which given the location seems bizarre. Quite a long walk into central Abingdon so dining options nearby are limited.
