"Popped in for a first time visit to New York for an event. The place was affordable for being downtown. Was right at Grand Central station so wherever we wanted to go was easily accessible by the Subways. Check in was easy and our room wasn’t huge by any means but that’s not most important to me. Just needs to be clean, a good shower and comfortable beds. Check check and check. Also having a mini fridge is a huge bonus. Gotta have cool drinks available at all times. Unfortunately the weekend was a rainy one for us. The fortunate thing though was the lobby had an umbrella checkout machine. Just sign up on the app and free umbrella use on weekends. Perfect. Just wish we saw it the first day. Overall the hotel took care of all our needs and was close to so many great attractions. We got to see so much stuff in our short few days thanks to this hotel. Will surely stay again in the future."

"This building was not at all handicapped accessible. The entrance door was quite heavy - no auto-door, and the people at the desk never asked if I needed help even if they observed me having a terrible time. Never, I asked the man at the desk if he would carry my bag to my room, and he was hesitant and disturbed by my request. They laughed when I banged into the door, and when I asked for any help. The door stop in the shared bathroom was broken, it would not stay up, so it was painful for me to keep it up until the door closed, then I was able to lock the door, They laughed a that too. They charged an extra $30.00 per cleaning of my bedroom. This place was a disgrace. I will not go back, not would I recommend it to anyone. TELL THEM TO BE A LITTLE MORE COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL NEXT TIME> NO ONE NEEDS a lazy comedian when having mobility issues."

"Lovely hotel, sadly the city view was not overlooking the empire state. All staff were helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from check in to check out. The room was clean and tidy, but unfortunately did not have any space to unpack clothes, fine for a short break but would be inconvenient for a week’s stay."

"This hotel has a great location and a wonderful staff! The rooms are roomy for NYC with a simple modern design! Loved having a refrigerator with water and beverages included. The staff was helpful with checking in and holding bags. The Wilson was a great restaurant connected to hotel which also has a wonderful staffs. We will definitely be returning to the Inns!de soon!"
