"Property was relatively clean. We stayed for a night and had no negative things to say. It is an apartment style hotel. The customer service was great as well. The only downside is that the hotel airport shuttle begins operations at 6 am and we had to be at the airport around 5 am."

"The Salamander resort is breathtaking! Spectacular property. The staff was always willing to answer questions or to help in any way possible. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I was so happy to see that it is pet friendly. My only complaint was that guests left their dogs in their rooms while they were out. I heard a few dogs that were clearly distressed at being left alone. As a dog owner, it really upset me. The guests should be required to not leave their pets alone."

"We have stayed here before. Unsure why it would be called luxury. We do like coming. Breakfast is nice,not $60 though. The first course of breakfast is usually dry,left out too long and should not be included at all. Our tubs drain was unattached,and the sinks had no stoppers at all. A concern for my diamond ring. The property also canceled our dinner reservation3 days previous. Many light bulbs were out in our room. The vents and shower were in need of spring cleaning."
