"The room was clean, but oh so tired. The sheer curtain was ripped, but we had the blackout curtains closed most of the time anyway. The bathroom door could do with some attention, and maybe an exhaust fan? However, considering the price, it served it's purpose, didn't affect our stay, and wouldn't stop us staying there again. "

"I booked this for a friend from overseas who was travelling to Northern Queensland to meet up with her son. She said the condition of the room was totally unacceptable. Apparently the proprietor offered her an alternative room which was equally grubby, so she did not stay and found another Hotel."

"We had a nice day until we reach this place and wanted to check in. The receptionist/ the person handles the check in was very rude, very unprofessional and very unwelcoming - not hospitable knowing they are in hospitality industry. Dealing with a loss with a family doesn't give you the right to treat your guests bad."

"We were so impressed with this little motel! The rooms were so spacious, clean and very well maintained. The pool looked very clean and inviting, the pool lights at night made the place look like as resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent place for a short stopover and great value for money!"

"Would never stay here or recommend it. If we didn’t check in so late and were staying more than one night we would have found somewhere else to stay. We stayed in the larger room with multiple bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms was closed off because it was not working. The rooms were old and not cleaned well. Air conditioners were not working. Beds and pillows hard as rocks. I’m very surprised this motel was rated so high by others. "

"I wasn't offered breakfast. Very very disappointing. The room was very clean and spacious. Inconvenient that there are no power points beside the bed, to charge phone. The pillows are way too high. Only suitable for back sleepers. There are no security screens on windows which is a deal breaker for next time. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason. Staff were ok. "

"Room was great, the water pressure alone will bring me back. Sometimes I travel with normal trailer, to get things from Townsville, if there is somewhere to put it there, I would definitely be back regularly. Great stay, very quiet."
