"The absolutely most comfortable bed I have had the pleasure of sleeping in while traveling. Quiet with great black-out curtains. While the breakfast was so-so the delightful woman overseeing the breakfast made it feel like a feast."

"The rooms are very spacious and equipped with many necessities including full fridge and freezer, stovetop, full length ironing board, etc. Also, the staff were helpful and kind. I’m not sure if the hotel owns the restaurant as well, but staff at “205” were extremely friendly as well. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"I would stay there again. It was clean well stocked. People were very nice. Felt safe. The breakfast was a little bit lacking and he probably would’ve been OK for kids before the adults well went next-door to the waffle house. It’s like a 30second walk in the same parking lot."

"The property was located in a quiet area of town situated on a city block of property. We wanted something off the beaten path and this was perfect! We stayed in the cottage. Bed was comfy. The antique furniture fit in nicely and gave you that step back in time feeling. There was an issue with the AC during the night and it quit working but it was tolerable as the temps outside were in the 70’s and the ceiling fan in our room kept the air moving. We loved the property. We felt it could use some minor TLC in certain areas. But we understand that also comes with old houses and their character. We did not go to the big house to check the porch out there. But it looked inviting. Breakfast at Charles Cafeteria and Grill was good. Mayberry vibe with locals meeting for coffee and small talk. Friendly staff and good food. I would stay there again if ever in that area and hope to check out the main house. We pray the owner continues to have success with this property as it’s a great opportunity for people looking for something out of the ordinary."
