I had a perfect stay at Breathe hotel in Leiden. The service was personal and excellent even though I arrived late at night and the room was very comfortable. Short walking distance everywhere in Leiden. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All of the rooms are new, with great amenities. It’s on a very quiet safe street, but within walking distance of the center of city with restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff were very friendly and generous. The rooms were clean and quiet. Highly recommend!

Cute. Great Price. Skip the Breakfast.

Lovely hotel. Small but well designed for up to 2 people. Bathroom counter is non existent so a shelf or extension would be welcome. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast was very light and continental, which is fine but at 19 Euros was a bit lacking. Hotel rate however was excellent.

Right there on the canal in a quiet place. The man who checked us in was remarkably accommodating, letting us into our room early because they had the cleaning staff on call, knowing that we might’ve recently flown in and needed rest. Excellent , gourmet coffee selections in the downstairs area.

Leiden is a fantastic city. It’s a little Amsterdam without all the people. This hotel is well positioned within the city. It’s a walking city. Our room was large and very clean. A full kitchen which was really nice. The lobby has an amazing coffee maker which is free all day. It also offers hot chocolate and tea. Quiet location just off a Main Street. The hotel also has AC. Beautiful hotel and great staff !!

A convenient walk from the center of Leiden and easy access to bus routes going to Leiden Centraal. Convenient to have digital keys to access the property. Great service and room was always maintained clean. Vending machines are not open to international guests (no easy way to pay).

Relaxing restful place

Friendly staff, helpful recommendations. We rented bikes at the train station and were able to safely store them in the hotel patio area. They have a fun water station for you to fill your own water bottles, with sparkling or still water. There is no elevator so you’ll probably have to go up some stairs, just FYI. Place is quiet and restful! Enjoyed the location away from the fray but along a pretty canal, and still easily walkable to anywhere you’d want to go. Recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay!

Great bed

This hotel was very comfortable. It has one of the best hotel beds I’ve slept on and I appreciated the kitchenette area; it was helpful to have utensils for breakfast. That said, the hotel breakfast is not worth the price. You’re better off going to a nearby grocery store and buying what you need. Also, the water does not stay in the shower. It needs a longer glass wall or, better yet, a door. We had to mop up water in the bathroom every time we showered. That said, the bed was so comfortable that we’d probably stay here again. We also liked that the hotel is in a quieter part of town.

Nice hotel within 10 minute walking distance to town. Stayed on top floor, room 7. We stayed 4 nights. 3 flights of stairs but we didn’t have lots of luggage, so not a problem. We liked having a fridge, dishes and microwave with a table and couple of chairs. Didn’t like the hard bed or lumpy pillows. No closet for hanging clothes, very small bathroom with a strange shower setup. The hotel staff were very pleasant. We opted out of the breakfast which didn’t look interesting, instead went to a local French bakery and picked up some delicious croissants etc. Overall the stay was pleasant with quiet surroundings. Probably would not stay there again, but Leiden was beautiful with some great restaurants!
