"We stayed at the Pod-Inn Hotel for 1 night mid September. We arrived at union station via train and the hotel was super close-about a 10 minute walk which was fantastic. The hotel is also in an amazing area downtown close to many food options, drink options and the touristy stuff. The hotel had a clear sign on the outside so you knew the location. It definitely isn't a stay meant for anyone with mobility restrictions. Check in was smooth and quick, we were given a little tour and showed to our pod. The check in clerk was super friendly. We had a large pod which was a top bunk. It's a little difficult getting in and out via the ladder (especially if you get up multiple times at night to use the bathroom) but we managed. The pod was clean, and super comfortable, a little noisey moving around as others said because of whatever metal sheet board is underneath. Mainly I flt bad for the bottom person. Yes you can hear snores etc. But thats to be expected when you share space with others, we used ear buds and were fine. Please note the pod area is a quiet zone. No eating/drinks allowed. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. Towels available, nd the social area was also super nice. All in all great stay for a quick stop over. Close to everything, clean and affordable! The only thing I can say is I wish the towels/sheets and comforters were scent free. As a person with allergies and many sensitivities I did find the detergeant a bit strong. Clean yes, but I wish there was no strong smell"
"The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived at the hotel. We were provided with a room upgrade when they found out I was celebrating my birthday. A bottle of wine was set up as well. Thank you again! Room was terrific, love the hard wood floors. Only concern was the neighborhood, did more Ubering than walking. Thanks again for a great stay."
"The condo was clean, did not have a city view as noted in the description. They do require a $200 deposit in order to get your check in info, and they have you send it via paypal, not sure if this is within the expedia guidelines or not, but at that point it was too late to cancel and try to find somewhere else. I had read HORRIBLE reviews about this place and was pretty nervous, but they got my deposit back to me within the 7 days as promised so overall it was a good stay. "
