The hotel is much closer to the airport than it is to Reykjavik. This was not a problem since we had free parking for our rental car."

"The hotel has a great gym and spa. I assumed that was included in my reservation as I did pay extra for a full breakfast. They told me there was an extra charge for access to the facilities. I paid over $300/night for the room and my room was a corner Room 324 and the smallest room on the third floor. I was very dissappointed."

"There is no staff that we saw. The front entrance door was broken and locked us out. We emailed but received no response. The location was scenic but we couldn’t enjoy from inside the room as the windows were filthy. The room was noisy and bedding just ok. Overall, would not stay again."

"Great location for taking the international flights. It’s clean and welcoming. The self check in and checkout are convenient. Just the key knobs for the shared bathrooms are too old. It’s easily for kids or even adults to lock themselves in the bathroom and have to call for help to open the door from outside."

"I stayed at Hotel Vogar twice during my Iceland trip, once on arrival and again before flying home, mainly because of its convenient location near KEF Airport. My first stay was good overall. We received the bed configuration we had booked, the bed was comfortable, and although the room was missing an electric kettle, reception quickly provided one. "Clean, spacious, well equipped place in a beautiful location by the sea. Great bathroom and kitchen! The only issue we had was the check in email didn't get to us (not sure if it was the companies fault) so we couldn't check in and didn't have things like wi-fi passwords. A quick call to the property resolved all of thism"
