The attention to detail is second to none throughout the whole property. The place is sparkling and spotless. Absolute pleasure to spend time there, relax and unwind. "Staff were very friendly and generally the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Bathroom could have been cleaner as there was a lot of dust on the extract fan. But overall, would stay again and recommend!"

This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "

"The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep."
