"Plenty of parking, room nice and quiet. Mattresses were comfy but the single beds felt very narrow also the legs of the bed were angled out and because of the dark colour too, a few stubbed painful toes! Food was a bit on the pricey side £8 for a portion of sweet potato fries! Breakfast was nice, enough choice. And the shower was nice and powerful. "

"Excellent location close to the motorway yet a very quiet hotel. Very clean and modern. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here several times before and it is my hotel of choice in that particular area."

"Great location nice full english breakfast, great host. Perfect location for canal side walks to Attenbrough centre. "

"Staff at check in were not proactive which led me to returning to the front desk three times before accessing my room. The hotel is being renovated, so there is dust and barriers all over the place. There are no USB chargers in the room, or plug sockets near the bed, which is challenging for charging devices. The staff at the bar/restaurant were more interested in doing anything but serving. The swimming pool/changing room was grubby. All in all a very disapointing visit."

With all the styling and privacy, You can feel like you're way out in the countryside, despite being within easy travel distant of plenty of things to do in Derby. A perfect place to unwind and relax. Great facilities, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be booking again."

"Perfect for a one night stay in Derbyshire. Booked two rooms, messaged on the day to request one set up as double, one set up as twin. Message acknowledged and rooms set up as requested. Very clean room and bathroom. Good amount of space for the price. No noise, from other guests, so perfect nights sleep. The hotel is separate from the pub next door. Would definitely book again without hesitation. Electric car chargers from Osprey and Instavolt on site."
