"Scarlett assisted me with check-in and showed me to my room. She was friendly, helpful, and efficient, making for a great first impression. I stayed in a Deluxe Double, which was a good size and featured a lovely, well-laid-out bathroom. The thoughtful extras in the room, such as the fans (even though the room has air conditioning) and the clothes steamer, were very much appreciated. There are two areas that I think could be improved. First, given the size of the room, a queen-size bed would fit comfortably and make the stay more enjoyable for couples. Second, additional storage would be helpful. The closet provides hanging space, and the coffee/tea station has a shelf, but there is limited shelving overall, especially for two people sharing the room. My room was located at the rear of the property, which made it nice and quiet. It was also worth paying extra for the rear parking, as I could see my car from my room. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again."

"For the price paid the room was very good, the bathroom great size, the lady working behind the bar was friendly and engaging, very quiet area, we have stayed here before, and perfect for one night, the front of hotel looks really nice, shame the weather changed as would have been nice to sit outside, we had evening meal which was very nice, didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that, plenty of parking available Check in and out was very easy,( reception could have been a bit friendlier), not rude just be nice to ask how our stay was etc.. the bar and restaurant could do with updating its a bit soulless, comfortable armchairs though to sit and have a drink,"

"First look it’s clean , but our room on the bed base was stained on the side . All garden furniture needed wiping down , garden maintenance needed more work . On the whole ok but definitely needs some TLC . Some furniture in restaurant very shabby also ashtray outside was overflowing and wasn’t emptied the whole time we were there ."

"The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The ameneties were all that I hoped they would be when booking the stay (Sauna/Gym/Pool/Jacuzzi). I was notified of any additional chargers well before hand and in a clear and concise manner. The food was of a very good quality and in large enough portions. I cannot speak to the Bar, as I rarely drink."

"The hotel & the grounds are lovely. The rooms aren't fitted with aircon (because it's listed I don't think they're allowed!) so in summer months it's quite warm. The pool is nice enough. We had breakfast included- there was a good selection & it was all hot! We also ate dinner at the hotel- that was delicious! The waitress was really friendly."
