"Lovely room, nothing too fancy but I had a dog so I couldnt use the floating sauna, though it looked very cool. My dog had a great time. I am glad I brought his bed from home because the one they provided seemed a bit thinner than what he is used to. Free parking and wifi is awesome. My only thing I would do differently next time is ask for a room facing east just because the sun came straight into the room in the afternoon on the west side and made it quite warm and there was a fan provided but no a/c. Everything smelled amazing, and there was a consistent theme of woody/cedar smells among the products and even they door key. Would absaloutely go back! Especially with my dog."

"We had a beautiful stay at this unit. The room was ocean front, and as we were assigned for ground floor unit, we had access outside right away. The only thing to note is: we wished there was thinner blanket option for couch bed. The only blanket that was provided was rather thick, and we couldn’t use it for summer. And just forgot to request a thin one to house keeping. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay at Black Bear Guesthouse! The location is great, and the suite was beautiful, super clean, and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s within walking distance of beautiful Chesterman Beach and also close to grocery stores and everything you may need. We stayed for three nights with our two daughters and really enjoyed our time there. This was our third visit to Tofino, and this stay made it even more special. We would definitely love to come back again! ❤️"
