"The room was incredibly basic and very small, which for the money did not represent good value at all. It was very clean and housekeeping did a great job every day and it was quiet and peaceful at night and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not great. We knew that the resort did not have its own facility and we used the restaurant across the car park on our first morning as recommended. The choice was incredibly limited and although the staff were friendly, it was totally inflexible as everything on offer was essentially pre-made and just heated on site. They are not geared up to provide a proper breakfast service. Luckily we found something much better in the town, but that meant a drive every morning, which isn't ideal. Everything else about the place was excellent. It's in a great spot and the views were magnificent."

"The location is very nice, the receptionist was helpful and polite. The balcony offers great view of ocean. Facility is not seniors friendly by design. Far too many stairs and gravel pathways. There is no assistance - or at least none offered - with luggage."

"This is an old character hotel. It has charm and a great ambiance. The rooms are not that large but they have everything you need and it is clean. We were staying in a quieter part of the hotel but I could imagine that there would be other parts of the hotel that would be noisy."
