"We were assigned to a lower level room facing the train track; luckily upon request, we were able to transfer to a different room on the same floor."

"Breakfast we were not a fan of. Ate mostly fruit, toast and boiled eggs. Trash collection was an issue too. Housekeeping took are the recyclables but left the bag of trash they we properly secured in a plastic bag for disposal. The bathroom (toilet) is cramped. The washer/dryers were not working either. Besides that, the room was clean, great view of Shinjuku with beautiful sunrises, and excellent location. Central to almost everywhere we wanted to go. "

"Staff was wonderful and I hate to leave a bad review simply because of that. But my room had a disgusting, mildew smell - like the guest before me had left their wet moldy gym clothes in there. I asked the staff to check it out, but the only solution they had was to crack a window, which then had to quickly be closed due to safety concerns. So the next 5 days I had to deal with this mildew smell each time I walked into my room. It was awful. I’d never stay here again, simply because the room...

"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the first week of May. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some minor negative issues: - All but one USB ports were broken, non-functional - Breakfast was average with limited choices - Shower water pressure was unusually low Other than those issues, it's a good hotel close to everything - Clean, bright bedroom (a bit small as expected in Shinjuku) - Cleverly designed, well-used of bathroom space - A nice coin laundry - Helpful staff"

"Die Aussicht vom Pool ist echt besonders. Auch in den oberen Zimmern hat man einen tollen Ausblick! Die Zimmer selbst sind schön. Leider gibt es jedoch so gut wie gar keine Stauraum (wie so oft in Japan) und das Waschbecken ist im Zimmer selbst, was zwar schön aussieht, aber eher unpraktisch ist. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Aufenthalt. "

"The only complexity was obtaining all of the details of the stay. They sent a link to a Google Drive with 6 PDF files detailing getting to the place and opening the door. I had to call to ask them to send the link after I emailed a full copy of my passport. They have some laundry facilities (a washer, no drier) but you must provide your own detergent. I only stayed one night, so had no time. Definitely could accommodate 4 travelers; I was there by myself. The interior was great."
