There were so many aspects of this property that made it perfect for our stay. Firstly the apartment had all of the things we needed when travelling with our 12 and 9 year old - laundry, kitchen, air-con, instructions for all of the appliances. We were surprised that even though we were one train station away from Ueno, the area was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay here again. Although check in is virtual, there was always someone on site to help if needed.

We had a wonderful stay in this clean and spacious apartment, perfect for our family of four! The location was super convenient with Oku Station nearby, and having McDonald's and convenience stores just a stone's throw away was a bonus. The bathroom heater was a lifesaver - it dried our clothes in no time! The loft area is a hit with the kids and the beds are so comfy. We'll definitely be back!

Staying in Tokyo without going broke

The hotel is very central to all amenities and close to the bus stop and train station. The room for 5 was very clean and we really liked the room set up. We really liked the upper loft and using the washing machine as well. The washroom and shower are really nice. Clean clean clean!

Nothing to complain about. Just Perfect. Place is Spacious for 4 people, groceries and convenient stores are nearby, place is clean, beds are comfy, hotel is in a residential area which is what i like, and train track nearby so you can hear the train something, but its doesn't bother us,hotel itself is quiet too,dont really hear much from the next door. Basically all the negative comments that I've read from other booing website i didn't experience it. I think the owner do take customer review quite seriously,and adjusted accordingly. Note that it is about 7 minutes walk to Oku station, and 15 minutes to Tabata station,so if you dont like walking or you can walk that far then this wont be the place for you, but my family and I walk everywhere Basically, we walk all the time, so this is not an issue for us. And you do have to bring your garage downstairs once when its full, but we dont mind doing that too, its basically like a apartment more than a hotel. Overall 5 out of 5!

Prism Inn Ogu was a very clean and modern looking apartment style hotel. I booked the apartment that can sleep 6 for my family of 4 and we had enough space to fit us comfortably. The apartment was clean, high ceilings and spacious bathroom. In room washing machine. Very close to Oku Station, local restaurants, 7 Eleven, McDonald's etc. It was a very quiet neighborhood which we liked. Front desk staff were friendly and went over the house rules with us. Pay attention to towel services and garbage sorting. Easy check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again!

I really love the location. The JR station is only a stop away from Ueno, and two stops away from Tokyo! Apartment is slightly far from the station after a day of walking and shopping, especially you are carrying so many things. There was renovation nearby which is the minus point. Receptionist was nice. Able store luggage before check in time. Luggages were in the room before we came back to check in. Pretty awesome. Apartment is big. Minus point is the microwave is spoilt. We didn’t notify the receptionist because I just get the convenient store staff to heat up my things for me. Thankful to have washing machine. Overall I would recommend this place is you dont have kids. Because walking from station to apartment or vice versa is a little long(it says 5-6 min but depends on your walking speed). If you don’t mind the walk, it is really a spacious place! How I would like it to be a hotel with daily cleaning service. But oh well, you can’t find a perfect accommodation I guess.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless your main purpose is space. Pros Spacious Modern look Inside washer- but it’s not helpful Inside microwave Front desk ladies are nice Beds are comfy Cons Everything about this hotel is cheap - no free accessories like tooth brushes, coffee etc - even the soap they give you is such cheap quality Slippers are dirty and reused by guests Bathroom has foam tiles and low ceiling, attention to detail for cleaning isn’t there. Soap bottle was dirty. There is no dryer. Need to dry clothes under bathroom vent which is smelly and your clothes are always linty and never dry Location is horrible - hard to get late night food, residential area and subway is a 10 min walk. Most hotels are only 1-3 min walk in Japan. The floors were dirty I had to remop. No room service you have to do everything yourself including bringing garbage down It feels like your staying at your aunts house with strict rules

Great place, it’s located in a very cozy area, close to Mac Donald’s, 7/11 and metro! We were total of 4 people staying there. It was enough room for all of us and the bathroom was clean. The people at the reception were helpful and very nice!

Highly recommend!

What a great place! My family of 4 really appreciated the space and comfort. It was clean, modern and equipped with all the appliances we needed. The Prism Inn Ogu is conveniently located near the Oku Station. We enjoyed the small stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. We were greeted by a lovely and friendly employee who thoroughly explained the property and policies. We definitely would stay again and will recommend to our Hawai’i family and friends who visit Japan often.

The room was spacious for a family of four. In-room laundry was very helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Our only complaint is that we needed more options to hang our laundry for drying. Some sort of retractable clothesline would have been helpful.

Theres two stations near the Property, one is 1.2 KM away form the property. Therefore if you do have a lot of luggage, please consider taking the cab. Otherwise, a very spacious and good hotel to stay at. Love the design.
